The Niagara Aerospace Museum is a "must see" attraction for all aviation buffs. This Museum is dedicated to Western New Yorkers who contributed to the world's aviation and space flight endeavors. The museums prime focus is on the rich aviation history of the Niagara Frontier and with many of the aviation products made here over the years are on full display.
This wonderful museum in Niagara Falls, Buffalo was once a hub of aeronautical engineering, which showcases the work of many local people over the past 100 years. Buffalo was America's center of aviation from 1917 to 1940. This unique museum outside the Niagara Falls International Airport offers the chance to any aviation enthusiasts who are interested to see some rare examples of flying machines. The museum exhibits planes, engines, models and flying-related memorabilia of which many of the items are manufactured in the area itself.
The facility also has a working restoration area and a theater where you can watch historic aviation movies and training simulators. Apart of the rare artifacts and ancient displays the Museum also provides an extensive educational programming. This will focus on the area’s role in the nation’s aerospace history, providing expert speakers, and the continuation of the extensive artifact restoration program including its most recent acquisition of the P-39 Aerocobra.
